Good Apps and Interesting Links

Here's my little collection of travel apps and Paris-specific apps (all iPhone because that's what I have!):

• Paris's public transit system app: RATP for iPhone
• Weather in Paris: Météo Paris
• Currency converter: GlobeConvert
• Maps & directions: Pocket Earth ($2.99 but there is a "Lite" version that's free)
• Radio: France Info
• This one is not strictly travel-related but good for anytime/anywhere you need white noise or help falling asleep (transatlantic flight; sleeping in a noisy place; studying). I paid the $1.99 for this one and IMO it is worth it: Sleep Pillow
• Two choices for texting via wifi: WhatsApp and Viber
• Shareable virtual postcards: Postale 
• Another good transit app: ViaNavigo
